DATABASE DESCRIPTION

The MIRA database covers all aspects of the global automotive industry providing bibliographic citations and abstracts (where available) of publications in both business and technical areas. As such it is broadly the online equivalent of the electronic publications Automotive Business News (ABN) and Automotive Abstracts (AA). The former highlighting current industry news, e.g. acquisitions/mergers/joint ventures, company financials, vehicle production and sales, etc. The latter providing extensive coverage of the technical literature, e.g. vehicle and component design and development, fuels, lubricants, environmental issues, etc.
